Reprioritizing Thermal Boundary Conditions
Each thermal boundary condition you assign overwrites any existing thermal boundary condition that it overlaps. You can change the priority of a previously assigned thermal boundary condition to be greater than a more recently assigned thermal boundary condition.
The order of thermal boundary conditions is important because, for any given triangle of the mesh, only one thermal boundary condition can be visible to the solvers. When two thermal boundary condition definitions overlap, the one with the higher priority is visible to the solvers.
- Click Icepak>Thermal>Reprioritize to reprioritize thermal boundary conditions.
The Reprioritize Boundaries window appears. The order the thermal boundary conditions appear in the list indicates the order in which they were defined. The lowest priority assignment appears at the top of the list.
- Drag the thermal boundary condition you want to change to
the desired order of priority.
Note:
The order of thermal boundary conditions in the project tree is alphabetical. The order does not correspond to the order of thermal boundary conditions visible to the solvers.
